Dr Sarah Linthwaite

Sarah completed her medical degree in the UK at the University of Oxford, graduating with a merit in her final examinations. She moved to Adelaide in 2014 and undertook her specialist training in South Australia. She is a Fellow of RANZCOG (FRANZCOG) and currently works as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Flinders Medical Centre, alongside private practice.

Sarah has advanced training in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery and colposcopy. She provides comprehensive gynaecological care, including management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, prolapse, menopause, abnormal cervical screening results, early pregnancy concerns and recurrent miscarriage.

With a passion for research and improving patient outcomes, Sarah has been Chief Investigator in grant-awarded research into genetic diagnosis after miscarriage and has presented her work at national and international conferences. She remains actively involved in teaching medical students and training junior doctors through the University of Adelaide and RANZCOG.

Outside of medicine, Sarah is a busy mum to two young children. She enjoys swimming, long walks on the beach and exploring beautiful South Australia with her family.

Sarah is very excited to have joined the fabulous team at FBW Gynaecology Plus and will be consulting out of both Windsor Gardens and Ashford with immediate availability.
